Boat Motion Monitoring

The exposure of HSC occupants to the harsh motion environment puts them at an increased risk of injury. Knowing what this motion-exposure is allows both individual and collective epidemiology to be completed and therefore help to reduce the risk of injury. The H-SURV™ System utilises Boat Motion Monitoring using the following components:

• Motion measurement; 3 or 6 Degrees of Freedom.
• Data recording; based on cutting-edge motorsport data acquisition.

The motion measurement and recording is based on the ABCD Working Group Guidance (ABCD-TR-08-02 v1.0 HIGH SPEED CRAFT MOTION MEASUREMENT GUIDELINES. ABCD Working Group on Human Performance at Sea).
